So, second go at this, and I think I got her to actually look like Regina. I've had Regina longer then any of my major characters, but she's the least drawn. So here she is, absurd outfit and all.
More Info & Chapters BIOGRAPHY Regina was born to Hollie Gott in the urban heart of the Badlands. Her mother's line of work led to three additional children, all by different fathers. Guilt drove the last of these father's, part of the region's small upper-class, into marriage with Hollie. It didn't take long for the man to grow tired of the uncultured Hollie, so within a few years he tossed her and the family back onto the street. The Gott's were once again on an escort's wages. The youngest of the siblings, who'd spent all of his young life in riches, went into total mental shutdown. At the age of sixteen, with her family collapsing around her, Regina set out. She had a taste of a better life and wanted it back. Money came to her from low level drug deals. She loathed the job, but it was clear she had a gift for it. Despite her unnatural ability, the name of the game was still survival. With few friends and just enough money to get by, Regina's life continued to be a struggle. She developed addictions to some of the softer drugs she sold. To compensate for the lost funds, she took up a second job as a club dancer, but her particular talent did little to help her there. Managing her dwindling money and unstable gift has left her ever more desperate for escape. Regina has a limited form of projective telepathy. She's capable of amplifying what others are feeling. This isn't a precise process. She can't chose "which" emotions to impact; usually, the dominant desire or motivation of the individual targeted is amplified. In drug deals, Regina is able to use this ability to milk unreasonable amounts of money by spiking a customer's need for the substance. This ability is unstable. Regina only vaguely understands how to use it, and has no comprehension of how it actually works. "Pushing" things too far can leave the receiving party dangerously amped up. She's had to flee several people accidentally driven to uncontrollable lust or greed. Whether her ability is supernatural, technological, or otherwise is unclear. Regina has only passing interest in finding out. Considering her circumstance, Regina is a relatively sweet girl. She's willing to use others for survival, but not much more, which has contributed to her financial troubles in the unforgiving Badlands. Compassion has been hard to come by in her life, so while she's perfectly capable of feeling love and sympathy, it's difficult for her to express them. Finding ways to get what she wants has honed her ability to seduce and coerce. Trust is an almost alien concept to her. On the very rare occasion she meets someone who she feels she can trust, all her defenses break down. Regina's personal relationships are just as unhealthy as her business ones. When she finds someone to put faith in, she becomes neurotically clingy and emotionally dependent. This is partly due to desperation for an anchor in her life, but it also stems from an unexpected crossing of her ability and her drug addictions. When alone, Regina can become consumed by her addictions, but with others around she's able to displace some of these needs. Because of this, she's developed a deep seated terror of being alone. She would much sooner be someone's lapdog then go it on her own. This has led her down numerous questionable paths, and while she's managed to escape them, each shattered relationship leaves a scar. Coming from a world where the modest are quickly drowned out, Regina is loud, sultry, and rude. This is mostly a shell, and she'll quickly adapt if something else works better. In any case, she's very visual with her emotions, and doesn't make much effort to restrain them. At her purest, Regina is a timid child desperately looking for love. What most people experience is a reckless teen severely lacking in dignity. Regina doesn't enjoy much about her lifestyle. Most of her nights are spent in lonely misery. She's good at feigning interest, but when sleep finally comes, she fantasizes about the pleasures she briefly knew. Movies are a chief liking of hers, and she'll rarely pass one up. When nobody is around for her to dump her addictive desires onto, she'll fall back to drugs, but these act as little more then temporary respites, and she loathes them even as she uses them. And while she professes atheism (often going as far as to obscenely shout down the idea of a benevolent God), she has a taste for the occult and darker spirituality. Friendship is her real passion, but it's also the hardest thing for her to find. |

Some 6 yr old girl just got on my plane in St. Louis. She was wearing an I Love Canada shirt. She eyed the seat next to me and I stared her straight in the eyes and shook my head. Fuck her. Fuck canada.
Also, who was the designed after? You change them all around so much... Oldest ones I can remember are Greyleaf, Tania, and Takky.
Anyways.
Regina is the same Regina that I've had since forever. I think she's my oldest character. This is just the first time I've actually like ... drawn her in a way that looks like a human being. Greyleaf/Arivior and Tanya sort of merged to become Kendra. There isn't really a current-day equivalent of Tacky, but one might show up.
